Bespoke Commissions

Your vision. Nature’s extraordinary creations. Beautifully preserved.

At PINNED, we believe some of the most meaningful pieces are those with a personal story behind them.

Alongside our curated collections, we offer a bespoke commission service, allowing you to create something truly individual.

Whether you’re searching for a particular butterfly, moth or unusual specimen, envisioning a unique arrangement, or looking to preserve a cherished invertebrate, we work with you to create a piece that reflects your ideas.

Created Especially for You

Every commission begins with a conversation.

From specimen selection and positioning to frame size, mount colour and overall presentation, we’ll help you explore the possibilities and bring your vision to life.

Each piece is individually prepared and framed by hand, with the same care, attention to detail and appreciation for natural history that defines every PINNED creation.

Preserving Something Personal

We also understand that some specimens hold a significance far beyond their natural beauty.

For those wishing to preserve a beloved pet invertebrate, we offer a thoughtful, respectful preservation and framing service, creating a lasting display of something truly special.

Whether it’s a treasured tarantula, mantis, beetle or another remarkable creature, we’ll discuss the available options and suitability of preservation with you.
